Ầu ơ !...Má hỏi thương ai?

Thì con thương Má, chứ ngoài ai đâu!

Thương Má con để trên đầu

Con thương nhiều lắm; hơn mười đầu ngón tay

Bực mình sao thấy thương hoài

Thương trưa, thương tối, thương ngày, thương đêm.

Sáng ngủ dậy thấy thương thêm!

Má!...Má!...Má!...

Nghe êm đềm biết bao!

Trẻ quê chưa thấy non cao

Chưa biết biển rộng, sông nào dài, sâu.

Công cha nghĩa mẹ biết đâu!

Thương Má là tại cái đầu bắt thương!

Niềm thương như khói như sương.

Mịt mùng tám hướng mười phương khôn cùng

Má là của mười đứa chung

Mà sao con muốn dành hun một mình.

Nói ra anh chị bất bình

Thật tình con muốn: Má chỉ để mình con thương.

Rún khô đã đứt còn vươn

Bắt thương, bắt nhớ suốt đường con đi.
